Romy and Ilya started Studio ROOF while living in the South of France with their three children, Stas, Nika, and Sonia. After four years in Montpellier, they decided to return to Amsterdam so their children could attend high school and grow into the young adults they are today.
In 2021, over a decade later, they returned to the South of France and discovered their dream house near Roquebrun. With Ilya managing the extensive renovation, they transformed it into a place of happiness where they now live and work. Their home often welcomes family, friends, and colleagues, creating a vibrant and joyful environment.
